Kenny Jr
The Kenny Jr collection celebrates what many consider to be the golden era of MotoGP racing and one of the most iconic liveries of all time...the Marlboro team livery. This iconic livery was seen across a variety of motorsports throughout the 90s and beyond, and piloted by some of the worlds most celebrated drivers and riders.
The 500cc era of MotoGP competition was a time when the world’s best riders had to wrestle unruly two-stroke beasts with zero electronics and up to 200 horsepower at the rear tire. This was also the era of which the United States was at its peak in two-wheel Grand Prix racing, with four different U.S. riders becoming the 500cc World Champion between the years of 1980 and 2000.
That era started with the last of three title victories for Kenny Roberts and finished by his son, Kenny Roberts Jr, who won the 2000 World Championship on the factory Suzuki. However, prior the Kenny Jr taking the title, he raced a decade for his father’s team, which ran the factory Marlboro Yamaha livery from 1990 through to the end of 1996.
